In this Kelly Designs workshop, you’ll receive a short introduction to Jesmonite, learn the basics of working with it, and gain an understanding of the materials involved. With all supplies provided, you’ll design and craft your own unique piece, guided step-by-step throughout the process.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
In this 2.5-hour workshop you will be taught step by step, with demonstrations on how to make your own pieces of home decor with Jesmonite using 3x techniques - terrazzo, marbling & colour block.
You will master the art of mixing, casting and sanding to create a one-of-a-kind piece using Jesmonite, a water-based solvent free resin.
Add your personal touch and creativity by using 1 of 3 different techniques and creating your very own colours to match your home style. Mix and cast into silicone moulds. Finally sand your piece to tidy the base of your creation.
Take your creations home at the end of the session, keep for yourself or give it to someone special.

EQUIPMENT: All materials and equipment are provided in this class including aprons and gloves.

There is a 40 minute wait for the Jesmonite to dry. Companies can use this time for staff games/ awards etc.
